Cathedral gift cards (set of 3)

£10.00

The cards depict the main façades of Wells, Peterborough and Exeter cathedrals. They take a fresh look at how the ideas of the day played out in the architectural style of each building. Early Gothic, Gothic and decorated Gothic are all on display, showing off the craftsmanship of the masons. The Gothic style, in all its forms, flourished from the late 12th until the mid-17th century. Its defining features are pointed arches, rib vaults, buttresses, and extensive use of stained glass. The combination of these features enabled the creation of buildings with unprecedented height and grandeur, bathed in light from large stained glass windows.

A series of cathedral illustrations created by Steve Keeling. You may also like our cathedral poster prints, please take a look.

Cards are supplied with white envelopes, each held with a low-tack peelable tab.

Size when folded 15 × 15cm, blank inside.

Printed on FSC, recycled card.

Delivery included to UK mainland addresses. Flat packed within a board backed ‘Please do not bend” envelope.
