Dr Aaron Watson.
Key skills- Archaeologist, illustrator and filmmaker.
Creative Director
Aaron has gained international recognition for combining archaeological research, heritage presentation, and artistic practice. He shares his discoveries through publications, research papers presented across the UK, Europe, and the USA, and has appeared in numerous radio and TV archaeology programmes.
Aaron completed his doctorate in 2000, exploring the relationship between stone circles and the landscape. He has since undertaken fieldwork at numerous prehistoric sites, produced publications, audiovisual work, and explored the integration of creative methodologies into traditional practice.
Between 2018 and 2024, Aaron worked as an interpretation specialist at Kilmartin Museum, situated at the heart of a remarkable complex of ancient monuments on Scotland's west coast. There, he played a key role in developing an immersive new exhibition, a project that deepened his understanding of how our contemporary lives connect to ancient history.

Design & Production
Steve Keeling
Key skills- Designer, 3D visualiser.
Steve Keeling has been collaborating with Monumental since 2007 and specialises in design, 3D CGI reconstruction and visualisation.
He has industry-wide design experience and provides planning and design development for larger projects. He has run his own design practice for many years, working for large international companies and a range of smaller businesses across the UK. He was a Business Link approved (design) consultant 2000 - 2011, and has won a number of awards for architectural, interior and graphic design solutions. His knowledge of display and exhibition methods, audio/visual technology, printing and manufacturing processes etc. provides greater scope for Monumental's creative direction.
