Anglesey’s most iconic heritage sites
Three panels featuring artwork by Aaron Watson have been unveiled at some of Anglesey’s most iconic heritage sites. Commissioned by Marion Blockley and Cadw, the brief for these visualisations sought evocative and imaginative impressions of ceremonies within the Neolithic chambered monuments of Bryn Celli Ddu and Barclodiad y Gawres, and the ritualised deposition of Iron Age metalwork at Llyn Cerrig Bach. Aaron used photogrammetry to record specific details of the two Neolithic sites in three dimensions, including the remarkable carvings within Barclodiad y Gawres.
