Visualisation

Over the years, Monumental has become known for original and dynamic illustrations and artworks. These engage audiences by featuring colourful characters and capturing sensory experience, theatre and spectacle.

They are based on site surveys, aerial photography, digital scanning and research data. The final images are often used in guide books and on site specific information panels.

Through a single image narrative we are able to develop a scenario, convey ideas about the past, create dramatic social interaction, landscapes, built environments, artefacts etc. In this way, visualisation and 3D reconstruction are also research tools, providing feedback to academia.
